- Provide revenues to the public treasury in accordance with the directives of the state’s general budget and the announced economic programs.
- Complete the project of digitizing tax procedures and transactions, along with its accompanying projects.
- Work on implementing the recommendations of the tax reform committees that have not yet been carried out.
- Transition to digital technology in all tax-related operations.
- Enhance the performance of the Tax Directorate in accordance with the available financial and human resources.
- Work on eliminating conflicts between tax laws and special laws, particularly regarding multiple tax exemptions.
- Continue expanding the tax base, combating tax evasion, and strengthening field supervision.
- Continue the implementation of the Tax Identification Number and enhance the efficiency of information systems and their exchange with relevant authorities.
- Develop technical tax processes, expand the self-assessment system to individuals, and work on increasing voluntary compliance rates.
- The development of services for taxpayers and funders, and the simplification of procedures and transactions.
- Increasing tax revenues to meet government obligations by expanding the tax base.
- Focusing on tax research and statistics and implementing total quality management systems in business operations.
- Benefiting from the experiences of other countries by participating in conferences, seminars, and workshops related to tax work.
- Activating and promoting double tax avoidance agreements.
