The Tax Authority has developed ambitious work plans and programs aimed at achieving the state’s general objectives, including:

  1. Generating revenue for the public treasury in accordance with the state’s general budget guidelines and announced economic programs.
  2. Completing the tax process automation project and its associated initiatives.
  3. Implementing pending recommendations from tax reform committees.
  4. Enhancing the performance of the Tax Authority within available financial and human resources.
  5. Resolving conflicts between tax laws and special laws, particularly concerning multiple tax exemptions.
  6. Expanding the tax base, combating tax evasion, and strengthening field inspections.
  7. Continuing the rollout of the Tax Identification Number (TIN) and improving information systems while enhancing data exchange with relevant entities.
